I am a software engineer in the San Francisco Bay Area, and I specialize in backend engineering. I am proficient in Java and comfortable in other languages such as C and C++.
Prior to beginning my current position as a software engineer at Apple, I attended Purdue University where I was a TA for two courses: CS18000 (Introduction to Software Engineering) and CS30700 (Software Engineering I). In CS 30700, I acted as a projet coordinator to student led teams throughout the semester as they developed a project using the Scrum methodolgy. In CS 18000, my role lied primarily in developing projects and coursework for the students.
When I am not working, you can often find me running, reading, or keeping up with new developments in technology.
What I've worked onFor my senior project, my team and I developed a mobile app for Android that allowed users to crowd source a response; users could post screenshots of conversations and ask for help responding, somethingg hat many people struggle with. For this project, I was in charge of developing and maintaining or SQL database, and writing APIs to allow the application to obtain the data it needed from our backend.
As part of a semester project, I worked with a team to create a web application that serves as an online IDE for MiniScript. I developed the database schema and maintained the database throughout development. Additionally, I worked with the frontend developers to develop JavaScript functions for making requests to the backend.
